Q. What is the Michigan Activity Pass?

Answer

Michigan Activity Pass (MAP) allows Michigan residents to "check out" free or discounted admission passes (and other exclusive offers) to hundreds of Michigan state parks, campgrounds, museums, trails, arts & cultural destinations, and more. All you need is a library card!

Starter Guide: How to check out a Michigan Activity Pass

  • You can "check out" one pass every seven days with your library card.
  • Prior to selecting and printing your pass, call ahead or check the destination's web site to verify that their hours of operation work with your schedule.
  • Once you print out a MAP pass, you have seven days to use it.
  • Only passes printed from the MAP website can be redeemed at MAP destinations. No photocopies are accepted.
  • If you have additional questions you may contact the MAP team at michiganactivitypass@gmail.com
